Recommended camera
- Intel™ RealSense® D415 and D435
- Support added in LUMOplay 4.0.7
- Works for all TV installations, and any floor or wall projector under 4000 lumens in brightness

Other supported cameras (for displays brighter than 4000 lumens or installations using Kinect-specific apps)
- Orbbec Astra
- LUMOplay also works with the Astra Mini and Astra Pro, though we generally recommend sticking with the standard Astra
- We do not recommend the Astra S, as this is the short-range model and is not suitable for most LUMOplay installations
- Works for any TV or wall, and with displays brighter than 4000 lumens
- Microsoft Kinect for Xbox One
- Requires a PC adapter kit
- Microsoft no longer manufactures the Kinect line of cameras, but they are still supported by LUMOplay
- There are some restrictions with system requirements for this camera (please check the compatibility of this camera with your PC).
- Required for installations using Kinect-specific apps
Beta supported cameras
- Azure Kinect
- Preliminary support added in 4.1.0-beta.16
- There are some restrictions with system requirements for this camera (please check the compatibility with your PC).
- LUMOplay is currently only considering large scale retail and enterprise orders for Azure Kinect apps. If you have a project that you want to discuss, please Contact Us.
Unsupported cameras (LUMOplay may work with these cameras but we do not provide support)
- Microsoft Kinect for Xbox 360
- Requires a PC adapter kit
- We have had reports from some customers that the Kinect for Xbox 360 does work with LUMOplay, but we do not officially support it and cannot offer technical assistance for customers who use it.
- Any UVC-compatible webcam
- LUMOplay can work with most commercial webcams, but they are not recommended or supported.
- Web cameras offer inferior performance when compared to 3D cameras.
- If you must use a web camera, we recommend the Logitech c920.
