Our recommended requirements are the benchmark used to test all of LUMOplay's apps.
If you are purchasing a new computer for your LUMOplay installation, we highly recommend buying a kit from SNUC. You can even get a discount on your first year's LUMOplay subscription!
Here are the recommended specifications if you plan to source your own computer:
- Operating System: Windows 10/11 (64 bit)
- Processor: Must have a clock speed greater than 3 GHz and have at least 4 physical cores capable of Hyperthreading or Simultaneous Multithreading (minimum 8 threads)
- Memory: 16 GB RAM
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 1050 Ti / AMD RX 570 or better
- Storage: 128 GB (or larger) hard disk or SSD
- USB 3.0 or higher (or USBc for Orbbec Astra 2)
Minimum Requirements
The minimum requirements are the lowest specifications needed to run most LUMOplay apps. Games and effects that include HD graphics, 3D, or advanced shaders may not run smoothly on these systems.
- Operating System: Windows 10/11 (64 bit)
- Processor: Must have a clock speed greater than 2.4 GHz and have at least 4 physical cores capable of Hyperthreading or Simultaneous Multithreading (minimum 8 threads)
- Memory: 8 GB RAM
- Graphics: DirectX 12 compatible with 2GB of video RAM
- Storage: 128 GB hard disk or SSD
- USB 3.0 or higher (or USBc for Orbbec Astra 2)
