It's recommended that you set up a full installation to test apps made with the LUMOplay SDK. Here's how to test your app in your installation before publishing it.
Set up your test system
- Plug a supported camera into your development computer.
- Set up your installation.
- Drag the game window with your LUMOplay SDK app from your Unity editor to your projector or installation display screen and maximize the window.
Calibrate the detection area
- If you're using a projector, mark the corner positions of the Unity game window on the floor/wall with tape.
- Launch LUMOplay and select calibrate from the top left dropdown menu of the LUMOplay desktop application.
- Move the blue corner pins as closely as possible to the marked corners.
See this article on Masking for more information.
Launch LUMOplay's vision server
- Press F2 to open LUMOplay's advanced calibration window. This will launch LUMOplay's vision server.
- Move the LUMOplay desktop app window to a second monitor or to the side or corner of your test display so you can see the Unity game window and test your app.
You can now enter play mode in Unity and test your app using LUMOplay's vision server.
NOTE: This will ONLY work within the Unity Editor. Trying to run a build without publishing it through LUMOplay.com will not work.
