Recently we have heard of some issues regarding the Orbbec Astra camera in a small number of setups. Essentially, it appears as though that the camera is "waling away" or turning in some way. This ends up creating a large amount of noise that will cause decreases in accuracy with the setup. We suggest that you try the steps below to help solve accuracy issues.
Please ensure that your environment is at the recommended temperature, 0-40°C. Also, check the temperature of the camera itself. You can use a temperature gun, or just by touching it. Make sure that it isn't overheating.
Close the LUMOplay application and unplug the Orbbec Astra camera from the machine. Once plugged back in, you can start LUMOplay. Wait for approximately 30 seconds, then recalibrate the camera to best fit your setup.
