What's causing the problem:
The most common cause of this problem is corruption in the Windows registry. In order to monitor the status of LUMOplay games, the main application uses with Windows Performance Counter system to check on CPU usage and available RAM. If the Windows registry has errors in it, this can cause errors in LUMOplay.
Solution:
Exit LUMOplay and open the Windows menu. Locate "Command Prompt" and right-click on it. In the context menu click "Run as Administrator." Type the following in the administrator command prompt and press ENTER:
lodctr /R
This will rebuild the Performance Counter cache in the registry from the system backup, which should resolve the problem.
