If you have the Orbbec Astra Pro and it is not working when you try to calibrate here is what you can do:
Was the Astra Pro previously working and then suddenly stopped?
If the camera suddenly stopped working, it may be subject to a known firmware bug that has been affecting the Astra Pro cameras. The manufacturer has a firmware update available that may resolve the issue, but that should be seen as a last-resort solution. You can contact Orbbec directly for the firmware update - info@orbbec3d.com
Or has the camera never worked?
If the camera never worked then the problem may be as simple as the device drivers not being installed, or the camera is connected to an overly-long USB extension cable. Both of these problems are relatively easy to fix.
First, make sure you have installed the Orbbec Astra drivers. You can download them here. Once the download has finished, run the installer. You may need to reboot your computer after you finish installing the drivers.
If your Astra Pro is connected to a USB extension cable, it's possible that the cable is causing signal loss. Try connecting the Astra directly to your PC. If the Astra works when connected directly to your computer, the issue is most likely with the cable. Try replacing the USB extension cable with one that has an external power supply, or by connecting the Astra directly to a powered USB hub, and using the extension cable to connect the hub to your PC.
