1. Welcome / Intro Screen

• Idle image: a graphic that invites players to start the game. This image can include a graphic title and start button.

 
2. Background image or video

• For the sake of our servers, we only allow one background video or image per app. Otherwise the apps start to get huge really quickly, and our costs exceed what we're comfortable charging for the app.

 
3. Question settings

• Set game mode: number of questions per game / timer countdown with high score
• Choose the number of questions total (this will create variety from game to game. There will be a limit on this, but we will have to do some testing to figure out what it is)
• Choose number of answers per question (3 or 5)

 
4. Add questions

• Upload images for each question / answer set, including question, right answer, wrong answers. This allows for a wider variety of possible answers, including images.

 
5. Answer highlight colors

• Assign a color to the outline for the right answer.
• Assign a color to the 'x' for the wrong answer.

 
6. Audio

• Right answer sound
• Wrong answer sound
• Game start sound
• Game over sound
• Background music
• Volume

 
6. Score settings

• Life image (for number of questions per game, which will allow for 3 lives)
• High score text options (for countdown timer)

  We may have to constrain the number of questions and options in order to keep this template from becoming too difficult to use, but we are working on a storyboard now.
