Welcome to 2021! We want to help you make stuff.
CompletedWe're really proud of the new Motion Maker tools, and we want to make sure they do everything our community has ever dreamed of, but we need your help.
Let us know what kinds of templates you need. Tell us if you'd like a tutorial to help you design something cool. Ask for features that will make your dreams easier to realize.
This is a new year and a new toolset, let's make it awesome together!

Hi Scott! You can connect your computer / laptop to a projector and preview the Motion Maker app you're making as you build it. If Motion Maker sees that there are two monitors attached when it's launched, the app will appear on the floor or wall that you've specified as your game display, and the settings will appear on the laptop or desktop monitor, so you can preview and troubleshoot your interactions in real time as you're designing.
If you only have one display connected, the settings and the app preview will appear on the same screen, anbd will respond to mouse movement for testing.

Hi Meg! The new features look amazing.
Maybe try something like plexus effect, connecting dots and lines and the option to follow or repel the user, actually in any template the follow or repel feature would be fantastic!
Also the possibility to choose particle shape, size, transparency in any template will provide a lot of flexibility.
Something I'd really like to see is 2 stages interaction: A first stage to break apart or fade animated text or alpha channel video to make it transparent, and then after that get to the main interaction.
Hope to have been clear enough and provide you with some value.

Hi Meg!
I'm new to the LumoPlay community but I have been reading lots of articles and just bought a RealSense D435 camera. I've been trying out the free apps and am having trouble with some of the mapping between camera to app input. Does Motion Maker have any dual-viewing windows where you can play the app while viewing camera feedback in real time (sort of like the calibration window) for app or camera trouble-shooting purposes?
Thanks!
Scotty
