For outdoor use where it gets below 0C (32F), would it be possible to put all the equipment inside of a climate controlled box with the camera looking through glass and still be functional? Can't seem to find any supported cameras that work below freezing.

  Not sure how I missed this... sorry for the delay! Yes, you can absolutely put your camera and projector in a climate controlled box. We do this all the time in Montreal! Here's a supplier I can recommend: https://projectorenclosure.com/climate-controlled-projector-enclosures/

  I personally know people who've used these. They work best with stereoscopic passive IR cameras like the RealSense D435f at a range of no more than 3.6m (about 12 feet).
