Nerf Dart Detection

I'd really like to be able to detect Nerf Darts with this software for wall games.  Have an Orbec Astra 3D and tried a Logitech Brio Pro X thinking that the higher frame rate might help but no luck.

 

Any ideas or guidance?

  Hey there! This would be super fun. Unfortunately regular nerf darts are a bit too small and fast for cameras like the Astra. We offer high accuracy sports solutions, but they're a lot more expensive because they either require a custom setup with a lot of support, or a very expensive camera, and they always involve custom software development, since our core apps are designed to be low cost and won't work with high accuracy / small fast objects. We'd love to see nerf darts as a potential interaction option for our core system one day, but in order to support it across the platform, Hasbro would hafta get on board.

  In the meantime, I just ordered a nerf mega XL, and I will test it. There's a good possibility I can get the larger darts to work. I'll update this post next week after I shoot my wall a few times. :)
