If you see the message 'your license has been remotely deactivated' when trying to use LUMOplay, it's likely that your license support period has ended.
To continue using LUMOplay, you'll need to subscribe. Pricing and feature information is available here: https://www.lumoplay.com/subscriptions/compare
In 2018, we announced that LUMOplay Pro and LUMOplay Personal (Basic) would be discontinued on Sept 1, 2019. We extended support for two years for all existing customers, and official support was ended Sept 1 2021. We've maintained these licenses as long as we possibly can, but as we move forward with updates to LUMOplay, old licenses will start to lose connection, and will disappear from your dashboard.
Any apps or games purchased or custom designed will continue to work with LUMOplay Free, which will occasionally share new apps and features through short videos. To remove these, a paid version of LUMOplay is necessary.
You'll find the latest software to be a huge improvement over the version you were using. Since launching the subscriptions, we've:
- added improved code-free Motion Maker templates so anyone can make their own apps and games without coding
- released an SDK so Unity developers can develop more complex apps and games without having to hire our team
- added a community forum where our community can request new apps and games for free
