There's no easy way to change your account email - technically it is against our Terms of Service to transfer licenses from one email to another.
This is because we make Lumo Play available locally, so you don't have to be online to use it. If you've already downloaded and activated your software with your original account email, changing the email without deactivating and reactivating the licenses will make it impossible for you to update your software or download new games.
If you want to proceed, you can follow these steps to transfer your account to a different email:
- Deactivate all your licenses by following these steps: https://help.lumoplay.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002781933-Deactivate-a-software-license
- Create an account on lumoplay.com with the new email address you want to use
- Contact us from the email address currently associated with your Lumo Play account authorizing the transfer and specifying the email address you want to transfer to.
Once we receive and validate your authorization, we'll manually transfer your licenses and games to the account with the new email and close your old account.
This can take up to a week and you may not be able to use Lumo Play in the meantime, so we recommend that you plan email transfers ahead of time.
