Today, we’re releasing the Lumo Play 4 Beta!
Based on user feedback and the need to move away from Adobe Flash, we re-built our application from the ground-up. This let us introduce 3D games and add many improvements that make the software easier to use.
Here's the first in a series of blog posts from our CTO Chris on the history of Lumo Play, and why we decided to re-build Lumo Play.
We're very excited about all of the new features that are available with the Beta.
Here’s what new:
- Game Gallery Menu
- Calibration Pre-sets for your equipment setup
- Calibration wizard tutorial videos
- Stability & performance improvements
- Language selector
- Remote control API
- Game sorting filters
- 3D games

What new features does the Beta software have?
Do I get any new games to test with the Beta?
How do I report a bug with the Beta?
For patch notes, known issues, and to share knowledge with other Beta testers check out our new Beta Testers Forum.
We're relying on your feedback to help make Lumo Play 4 as good as it can possibly be. If you have any questions or run into any errors, please contact us either on the Beta Testers Forum or file a bug report using the in-software bug-reporting tool with the subject line: "BETA".
We'll be releasing new updates to fix any errors that come up during testing.
