Supported File Format - PNG
All the images that you upload to the Motion Maker templates should be in PNG format. PNG stands for 'Portable Network Graphic'. This format was invented to replace GIF due to a patent that restricted the use of the GIF file format. (If you're interested, you can learn more about the history of the PNG format here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portable_Network_Graphics)
The Motion Maker templates are designed to accept PNG files because these files can be saved at a very high quality, and you can include an alpha channel (an area that is interpreted as transparent), which means you can create particle images that are different shapes.
