How do the Lumo Play games become interactive?
The camera tracks movement and we send that data to the game and the game reacts to it.
To run a Lumo Play interactive installation, all you need is a computer, a sensor, a display, and the Lumo Play software.
- Computer (Windows) - runs the software and games
- Display (Projector, TV, Monitor, Touchscreen) - shows the game you are playing
- Sensor (Web Camera, Kinect for Xbox One, Orbbec Astra, Touchscreen) - tracks your movement so that the games can react to you
- Lumo Play Software - It's the game player & the brains behind the setup. It connects all the equipment and data together so the games react to movement.
If you are using a touchscreen, you don’t need to use a sensor, the touchscreen is the sensor.
Lumo Play is compatible with any projector, digital display, touchscreen, and almost any computer. Here is a list of equipment specifications. Our equipment setup guides will show you exactly what you need and how to set up your installation, whether you’re using a flatscreen or projecting on a wall or floor.
